How it works
A payload is a charge, case, and fragment description for kinetic design work. A setup is a named snapshot of the whole workbench: payloads, surrogate plate, scene, local-blast knobs, and catalogue edits.
Physics tabs (Gurney, blast, THOR, EFP / SC, projectile pen, structural, local blast) plus Engagement (soft effects, fragment fly-out, JFIRE, effects), Target (a BRL-CAD-shaped solid per catalogue class, a parametric Pd study vs aspect and elevation, and height of burst vs standoff), Catalogue, and the Technical Data Package tab read that state. Range-safety names follow JFIRE FM 3-09.32 (Dec 2007): RED is the risk-estimate distance at 0.1% or 10% PI, MSD is the peacetime fragment danger distance, and danger close is a call-for-fire warning — not the same as either. CDE is collateral-damage estimation (ROE); the workbench also draws an engineering CDE contour at the furthest-reaching effect of the payload. The Technical Data Package tab builds a downloadable ZIP (geometry, drawings, JTCG/ME ZDATA, blast, penetration, JFIRE distances, the catalogue solid, and Target Pd studies) to start a JMEM effort. Use the tabs for weaponeering, targeteering, and effectiveness against a catalogue of ten generic class examples plus any rows you add. Component Pd on a solid is an engineering estimate, not an AJEM remaining-capability run and not a certified Pk.
Saving writes JSON to your account. Loading a setup from the dashboard injects it into the workbench. Accounts without Workbench access can read the docs; they cannot open the workbench or store snapshots. A trial code, if you have one, grants that access for the trial period without checkout.
