What the Service is

weaponeer.io is an engineering calculator. It implements analytical and empirical relations published in textbooks, public manuals, and the open academic and laboratory record, and assembles them so that one payload description can be carried across Gurney velocity, fragmentation statistics, blast scaling, penetration, fly-out, and hazard-distance estimation without rebuilding a spreadsheet. That assembly is the product.

Every Output is a model result computed from inputs you supplied, under assumptions stated on the relevant tab. Every model implemented has a limited domain of applicability. Determining whether a model applies to your problem is your responsibility, not the Service’s.

What the Service is not

Output is not a certified Joint Munitions Effectiveness Manual or any JTCG/ME product. Output is not a range-safety determination, surface danger zone, range clearance, hazard classification, or explosives-safety quantity-distance determination. Output is not a collateral damage estimate, targeting product, rules-of-engagement determination, law-of-armed-conflict assessment, or authority to employ any weapon. Output is not a security classification determination. Output is not test data and is not a substitute for test data, live-fire validation, or qualified engineering review.

Naming a published work on Sources means the Service implements methods described in that work. It does not mean the author, publisher, agency, laboratory, or program office reviewed, endorsed, sponsored, or is affiliated with this product.

Range safety

Hazard distances, fragment and debris footprints, and danger contours produced by the Service are engineering estimates. Do not use them as the sole, primary, or controlling basis for any range clearance, surface danger zone, evacuation decision, or personnel siting decision. Those determinations must be made by a qualified range safety officer under your own approved safety program, using approved references, in accordance with the regulations that apply to you. Output may at most be one advisory input to that process.

Classification and export control

Do not enter classified information, Controlled Unclassified Information, or material bearing a DoD distribution statement other than Distribution A into the Service. The Service is not accredited to receive such material and you are solely responsible for what you enter.

Access to the Service is restricted and conditioned on eligibility, screening, and verification. See Access Eligibility. You remain solely responsible for your own export-control, classification, and operational compliance. We do not determine the control status of your inputs, your Output, or your designs.
